| Job Overview: | |
| We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist with a strong background in Chemistry and hands-on expertise in FMCG (Homecare) R&D. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and innovating formulations for laundry and cleaning products under our established brands like Safed, Champion, Sparkle, and others. | |
| Role & responsibilities | |
| 1. Lead/Support formulation development work stream for the brand – Innovation & others projects | |
| 2. Research and Scout new technology routes/solutions to deliver superior products for the category | |
| 3. Develop R&D Test Methods and Protocols | |
| 4. Ensure all R&D work done OTIF as per the project requirement e.g Lab work, Specification development (RM/FG), Performance tests, Stability studies, GNT, Claims Support, and Demo Development etc. |

| 5. Create and monitor RM & FG specifications ensuring quality and market competitiveness. | |
| 6. Address technical troubleshooting in factories / across supply chain | |
| 7. Address product-related queries from sales, marketing, and customers. | |
| 8. Collaborate with quality team to address the quality / product / consumer complaints | |
| 9. Work with process engineering and manufacturing teams to scale up products and optimize processes. | |
| 10. Collaborate with packaging team and ensure relevant pack design , artwork etc is ready for launch | |
| 11. Document R&D work through detailed reports and present findings to management. | |
| 12. Manage the technical network of the project assigned | |
| 13. Collaborate with Procurement, factory and quality teams to ensure successful MPT and Transits trials Test before launch. | |
| 14. Ensure smooth functioning of lab operations, including supervision and management of lab inventory (chemicals, glassware, instruments) | |
| 15. Manage Daily R&D operational activities | |
| Required Skills and Competencies | |
| 1. Technical Expertise: Knowledge about Surfactants , Inorganics , polymers , and other ingredients used in home care product formats | |
| 2. Project Management Excellence: Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while ensuring on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery.Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field |
